THE STORY

January 15th 2018.

The moon was high and so were we, our incessant mostly incoherent ramblings about opening our dream salon were, as always in full swing, this is the day that George & Ivy was born.

It began when we found the perfect space, y’know the exposed bricks , the high ceilings, floor to wall windows, edgy neighbourhood, not too much to ask at all. From there the vision came to life, and the renovations began.

We were newlyweds high on the possibility of new beginnings and certain that our years of experience would serve us well, always with the healthy dose of fear that those high ceilings could come crashing down around us.

BUT YOU ALL WANTED MORE….

Our team and our client list started to build. We couldn’t keep up!

SO just a year later (baby on hip) we moved up upstairs and (not so) casually popped in a few more chairs and mirrors. All of a sudden we had a team of 8 talented, passionate and dedicated individuals that look forward to getting their hands in your hair every day.
